Showcasing world unique furnace with rDME biogas

After the successful inauguration in May it was time for international gas guests to visit Björneborg Steel for a study visit of the world unique heating furnace fueled by 100% rDME biogas. It was a highly appreciated, and well attended visit with a lot of relevant and curious questions about the furnace, the rDME gas, emissions, process components and about the project itself.

The participants was also interested about the commercial aspects of the project.
When it was time to open the furnace and start forging, it was as spectacular as always and no phone camera was left alone.
