The bear awakens!
We proudly present our company logo for the new start of Björneborg Steel AB from first of April. The bear logo relates to the spoken legend from our year of foundation in 1656 where a bear entered into the forge shop and was killed by the hammer-forge when chasing a cow.
We also connect to our Nordic heritage and history with former company name Björneborgs Järnverk which also had a bear logo which still is in use upon customer request.
The bear also symbolizes the name of our location, the village of ”Björneborg” which directly translated means ”Bear fortress”.
Last, but not least it represents the strength of our products, our people and our organisation.
